College Football: FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll - Week 2

In the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll for Week 2 of the 2025 college football season, Ohio State claimed the top spot for the second straight week with their dominant 70-0 win over Grambling on Saturday afternoon.

Ohio State has the longest active appearance streak in the poll at 150 weeks.

Last week marked the first time Ohio State, the defending National Champion, has been No. 1 in the poll since November 1, 2015. With the loss, Texas dropped from the top spot in the preseason poll to No. 7.

The next three teams remained the same in the poll, as Penn State stayed at No. 2 with their 34-0 win over FIU, LSU took third after their 23-7 win over Louisiana Tech, and Georgia at No. 4, as they beat Austin Peay, 28-6.

Clemson took a tumble, from No. 8 to 13 after their 27-16 win over Troy.

Alabama was left out of the poll for the first time ever after their 31-17 loss at Florida State in Week 1, and they still remain on the outside looking in, but received 40 votes after their 73-0 win over Louisiana-Monroe.
