Yankees-Diamondbacks Series Changes

The Yankees' game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday afternoon has been postponed and will be made up Monday at 1:05 p.m., with Yankee Stadium gates opening at 12:00 p.m.

Fans with paid tickets for Saturday, September 23 can use them for the rescheduled game on Monday, Sept. 25 or exchange them for tickets to a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium. More info on the Yankees' rain check policy can be found at www.yankees.com/raincheck.

The Aaron Judge #62 Bobblehead that was Saturday's promotion will now be given out on Saturday, April 20, 2024, when the Yankees take on the Tampa Bay Rays, for the first 18,000 guests. This is the second part of the set that will go along with the Roger Maris #61 that was given out on August 20, so fans will have to wait longer to complete the unique item.

The Yankees also included this information: "Complimentary (COMP) tickets and tickets obtained through the Commissioner's Initiative for Kids for Saturday's game (Sept. 23, 2023) MUST be used for the rescheduled game on Monday, September 25. COMP tickets or equivalent tickets bearing no cash value and do not have any additional benefits that may be offered to ticket(s) with a dollar value."

Moving this game to Monday was made possible with some help from the Chicago White Sox.

While the Yankees originally had Monday off before they start a three-game series in Toronto on Tuesday night, Arizona was set to play in Chicago Monday, and would have Thursday off.

The resolution was that Arizona and Chicago will now play on Thursday at 1:10 p.m. local, and if you happen to be in Chicago reading this, the White Sox will offer $1 tickets to the rescheduled afternoon game, and free parking.
