The Nets home opener will be two days later on Friday, October 28, versus the Indiana Pacers at Barclays Center. This will also mark the return of Thaddeus Young, who was traded to Indiana in the offseason.

The new-look Knicks come to Brooklyn on February 1. A month later, they play twice in five days, March 12 at Barclays and March 16 at The Garden.

The Golden State Warriors, with new free-agent signing Kevin Durant, will be in Brooklyn on December 22 and the Nets travel to Oakland, CA, on February 25.

The Nets take on the Celtics on opening night, October 26, in Boston, and host them on November 23. The Nets host the Celtics on March 17 and head to Boston on April 10.

The Nets take on Dwyane Wade and the Chicago Bulls on October 31 in Brooklyn and Wednesday, December 28, in Chicago. They don't play each other again until the end of the season, when two of the Nets' last three games are against the Bulls, on April 8 in Brooklyn and April 12 in Chicago.

For the first time since the Nets moved to Brooklyn, they will play back-to-back nights at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, as they take on the Clippers on Monday, November 14 and the Lakers the next night. The Clippers come to Brooklyn on November 29, and the Lakers are at Barclays on December 14.

Nets Head Coach Kenny Atkinson makes his return to Atlanta on March 8 and March 26. The high-flying Hawks come to Brooklyn on January 10 and April 2.

The Nets' annual Circus road trip consists of eight games over 15 days, beginning Friday, February 24, at Denver and ending on Friday, March 10, at Dallas. The Nets schedule also features 10 one-game road trips and six two-game trips.

Sixteen of the Nets 41 home games inside Barclays Center are set to be played on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Featured again this season in Brooklyn are five afternoon-scheduled contests.

The Nets season slate features 14 back-to-backs, including two home contests in as many nights on Saturday, April 1, versus Orlando and Sunday, April 2, against Atlanta. Four of the team’s back-to-back sets will take place in the month of January.
