Kennedy Set To Make The Ballot In North Carolina

Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that his campaign has amassed the necessary signatures to appear on the ballot in North Carolina.

This is the fifth state in which Kennedy has done this in his quest to get on the ballot in all 50 states.

Kennedy, along with his running mate Nicole Shanahan, is already on the ballot in Utah, and Hawaii's Office of Elections confirmed Kennedy supporters have collected the required signatures to establish the "We The People" party. He has collected all the necessary signatures for ballot access in New Hampshire and Nevada.

Stefanie Spear, campaign press secretary, said, "We have the field teams, volunteers, legal teams, paid circulators, supporters, and strategists ready to get the job done."

Supporters of RFK Jr. in NC formed "We The People," a new political party that will run Kennedy as its candidate. The campaign collected over 23,000 signatures, including a buffer of 60%, which you need in case signatures are not accepted.

North Carolina was the fifth-closest swing state in the 2020 presidential election, with President Trump beating President Biden by just 1.3 percent, 49.9 to 48.6.
