The Yankees, backed by a pair of home runs from Gary Sanchez and one from Aaron Judge, rolled to a 6-2 win over the Red Sox in Game 2 of the ALDS at Fenway Park to even the series.

The Yankees now have a chance to clinch the series at home, as the next two are at Yankee Stadium, Monday and Tuesday nights.

The Yankees were 6-0 at home in last year's playoffs and won the Wild Card Game at The Stadium Wednesday night, so it is a realistic possibility that they can close it out at home and not have to return to Boston.

The Yankees will be looking to even up the ALDS with the Boston Red Sox in Game 2 on Saturday night at Fenway Park.

Boston needs to hold serve and preserve home field with a win to guarantee that they can get the series back to Boston for a Game 5 if necessary because the Yankees have turned their building into an imposing place to play in the postseason.

The Yankees lost a nailbiter Friday night, 5-4, to the Red Sox in the first game of the ALDS.

The Yankees can take a lot of positives from the loss as they head into Game 2 Saturday night. They nearly stole a win in a game started by Boston's ace Chris Sale and their bullpen shut out the Red Sox for the final five innings after starter J.A. Happ left the game.
