Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman made his third big pitching acquisition of the week, as they acquired RHP Lance Lynn and cash considerations from Minnesota in exchange for INF Tyler Austin and RHP Luis Rijo on Monday night.
This comes in addition to adding Zach Britton to an already impressive bullpen and J.A. Happ to the rotation.
The Yankees starting rotation now has something it has been searching for all year: depth.

Red Bulls and United States National team midfielder Tyler Adams has been named to the 2018 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target, the league announced today.
Adams joins teammates Bradley Wright-Phillips, Aaron Long and Michael Amir Murillo (pictured above) to face Italian giants Juventus FC on August 1 at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

New York City Football Club's David Villa has been forced to withdraw from this week’s MLS All-Star Game due to injury.
The Spanish striker, who has scored eight goals in 10 starts this season, has missed NYCFC’s last six games and will not be ready to return for the game vs. Juventus at the Mercedes Benz Arena.

New York City Football Club's streak of four straight wins, all of which were shutouts, was snapped on Sunday when they lost, 3-1, to the Seattle Sounders.
NYCFC's scoreless streak lasted 434 minutes, and was snapped when Cristian Roldan got Seattle on the board in the 36th minute.

New York City Football Club earned their fourth straight victory, as they used two late goals in the first half to earn a 2-0 win over Orlando City on the road Thursday night.
The shutout Orlando gives NYCFC and goalkeeper Sean Johnson a club record four-successive clean sheets.
They also stretched a club-record 398 minutes without conceding a goal streak.

For the second time in as many days, the Yankees acquired a top left-handed pitcher.
On Tuesday, it was reliever Zach Britton, who came from the Baltimore Orioles to bolster an already elite bullpen.
On Thursday, the Yankees struck again, as they got top starter J.A. Happ out of the Toronto Blue Jays for infielder Brandon Drury and outfield prospect Billy McKinney.

Late Tuesday night, the Yankees made a major move to bolster their bullpen as they acquired lef-hander Zach Britton from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for RHP Dillon Tate, RHP Cody Carroll and LHP Josh Rogers.
Britton is one of the top closers in baseball, as he has racked up 139 career saves since he started his career with Baltimore in 2011.

New York City Football Club rolled to a 3-0 win over the Montreal Impact on Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium, with all goals coming in a big second half.
NYCFC imrpoved to 11-4-4, with 37 points, in second place in the Eastern Conference, now just three points behind Atlanta for the top spot, and five points ahead of the Red Bulls. They have gained six points on the Red Bulls this week, as they beat them at The Stadium on Sunday night, 1-0.
