In the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll for Week 15 of the 2024 college football season, the final one of the season, Oregon came out on top for the eigth straight week with the won the Big 10 Championship over Penn State, 45-37.
The FWAA and NFF do not release a poll after the postseason, and the NFF automatically awards its MacArthur Bowl National Championship Trophy to the winner of the College Football Playoff National Championship.
The Oregon Ducks claimed 52 out of 54 possible first-place votes, and they are the first non-SEC team to hold the No. 1 spot in the poll for at least eight consecutive weeks since Ohio State in 2015.
With the loss, Penn State fell three spots, from No. 3 to No. 6 this week.
Georgia jumped three spots to No. 2 after they won the SEC Championship over Texas, 22-19, in overtime.
Texas dropped two spots to No. 4, and it claimed a first-place vote, as did Georgia.
Notre Dame claimed No. 3, moving up one spot from last week, and Ohio State moved up two spots, to No. 5.
Tennessee dropped one spot, to No. 7, while Indiana moved up one to No, 8, and Boise State also jumped one, to No. 9, after they won the Mountain West Championship over UNLV, 21-7.
Arizona State moved up three spots to No. 10, after it won the Big 12 Championship over Iowa State, 45-19. With the loss, Iowa State, last week's No. 16, fell out of the poll.
Alabama remained at No. 11, while SMU came in at No. 12, dropping four spots after it lost the ACC Championship to Clemson, 34-31. The win put Clemson back in the poll, at No. 13.
