RFK Jr. To Host "The Real Debate" Thursday

From Kennedy24.com.

Since Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was shut out of the CNN debate later this week with Presidents Biden and Trump, he will be holding his own event the same night.

On Thursday, June 27 at 9:00 p.m. eastern time, the Kennedy campaign will be hosting The Real Debate from Los Angeles. Please click here for more information and to bookmark the link to view this historic event.

Kennedy said in a statement, "The American people want leaders who trust them to make up their own minds. Instead, our last two Presidents are restricting voters from choosing anyone other than themselves. Presidents Biden and Trump have sucked trillions of dollars from the pockets of working people and Americans deserve to hear from the one candidate who can hold them to account.

The campaign is billing this as "restoring the rights of American voters to see the presidential debate as it is supposed to be - Biden, Trump, Kennedy - and to decide for themselves which candidate will best serve them over the coming four years. Since 71% of Americans want to see Kennedy on the debate stage, the campaign will give them what they want."

There also are many historical precedents broken with this CNN debate, starting with that is the first presidential debate since 1988 that has not been sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates. It is the first time in American history that a general election debate is owned and controlled by a for-profit corporation. It is the first presidential debate since the inaugural one between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon where not a single voter will be present. It is the earliest in a presidential election year in history and the first time prior to the Republican and Democratic nominating conventions. It is the first-ever debate between a current and former president, a matchup of the two-oldest candidates in American history.
