St. John's continued their rapid off-season makeover, as they announced on Wednesday that they have signed Stanford transfer Oziyah Sellers, and he will be on its 2025-26 roster.

Sellers averaged 13.7 points per game, while shooting 45.1 percent overall, including 40.1% from three-point range, in his one year at Stanford. He also shot 89.7 percent from the free throw line, which came in at fifth-best in Cardinal history.

The 6-foot-5 guard started in all 35 Stanford games this past season, playing 33.1 minutes per game.

Sellers ranked second on the team and top-25 in the ACC in scoring, while notching double-digit points 28 times, including six games in which he scored at least 20 points.

St. John's Head Coach Rick Pitino said of Sellers in a statement, "We are super excited to have Oziyah in our program. Not only does he bring great experience and tremendous outside shooting but his workout on his visit was incredible. Oziyah has terrific size and an unbelievable attitude. He'a a great addition for Johnnies Basketball this season."

Sellers was teammates in high school, at Southern California Academy, and for two seasons in college, at USC, with St. John's standout Vincent Iwuchukwu.

Sellers is now the third transfer to join St. John's this offseason, after they brought in five-star prospect Joson Sanon from Arizona and Bryce Hopkins, a 2022-23 All-Big East First Team Selection, from Providence.
