The Red Bulls and international professional gamer Ninja unveiled the team's new 2020 Dark Mode Kit on Wednesday night at the MLS Forward25 event in Manhattan.
This kit is tied back to the team's original colors when they debuted as the MetroStars, and wore red and black uniforms.
"An all-red, raised silicone cub crest serves as a reminder that Red Runs Deep, while a red and black jock tag highlights the connection to the original colors and kit design," said a statement from the Red Bulls announcing the new uniform.
The jersey will also have nine stars in silver across the inside of the drop hem, a nod to their status as a founding Club of Major League Soccer. This will only be on the Authentic jerseys of the nine founding members.

FORWARD25 jersey reveal is part of MLS' 25th Season Celebration in 2020. The season will celebrate the league's past, while expanding on the foundation it has built over an extensive period of explosive growth. There will be unique experiences, marquee events, robust content, innovative programming, and the special 25th Season commemorative design integrated throughout MLS and partner initiatives, including the MLS 2020 jerseys.
