College Football: FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll - Week 11

 

In the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll for Week 11 of the 2023 College Football season, the top four schools for the third straight week are Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and Florida State. In fact, the top eight in the poll remained the same as last week.

Georgia picked up 40 of the 56 first-place votes to remain No. 1 for the 21st consecutive week with their 52-17 win over Ole Miss. An SEC team has ranked No. 1 in the poll for 53 straight weeks, going back to September 29, 2019.

No. 2 Michigan, without the suspended Head Coach Jim Harbaugh, went on the road and won at Penn State, 24-15. That loss caused Penn State to drop three spots, from No. 9 to 12.

Ohio State remained No. 3 with their 38-3 win over Michigan State, and Florida State beat Miami, 27-20.

Louisville moved up two spots to No. 9 with their 31-24 win over Virginia. This is their highest position in the poll since they were No. 4 on November 13, 2016.

Missouri made a massive leap, five spots to No. 11, claiming their highest ranking ever in the poll, after they beat Tennessee, 36-7. 

That caused Tennessee, who was No. 13 last week to drop out of the poll. Oklahoma State, the No. 14 team last week, also dropped out of the poll after they suffered a 45-3 loss at UCF.

Oklahoma and LSU took their places in the poll. Oklahoma came in at No. 13 after they destroyed West Virginia, 59-20, while LSU is No. 15 after they beat Florida, 52-35.
