In the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll for Week 12 of the 2023 College Football season, the top four schools are Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and Washington, who leaped over Florida State to claim the fourth spot.
Georgia picked up 52 of the 56 first-place votes to remain No. 1 for the 22nd consecutive week with their 38-10 win over Tennessee on the road. An SEC team has ranked No. 1 in the poll for 54 straight weeks, going back to September 29, 2019.
No. 2 Michigan, without the suspended Head Coach Jim Harbaugh for the second straight week, went on the road and won at Maryland, 31-24. Ohio State remained No. 3 with their 37-3 win over Minnesota.
Washington moved up to No. 4, one spot from Week 11, with their 22-20 win over Oregon State on the road. The loss dropped Oregon State four spots to No. 14.
Florida State fell just one spot to No. 5, after they beat North Alabama, 58-13.
Missouri, who had risen five spots to No. 11 in the Week 11 poll, moved up one more spot to No. 11, claiming their highest ranking ever in the poll after beating Florida, 33-31.
Utah, who was No. 16 in the Week 11, dropped out of it completely after they suffered a 24-point loss at Arizona, 42-18. Arizona entered this poll at No. 16.
