College Football: FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll - Week 13

The FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll for Week 13 of the 2023 College Football season has the top four schools in the final week of the regular season Georgia, Michigan,  Washington, and Florida State, which is a big change from the prior poll, which had Ohio State in the third spot.

Georgia picked up 43 of the 56 first-place votes to remain No. 1 for the 23rd consecutive week with their road win over Georgia Tech, 31-23. An SEC team has ranked No. 1 in the poll for 55 straight weeks, going back to September 29, 2019.

No. 2 Michigan, without the suspended Head Coach Jim Harbaugh for the third straight week, beat their rival, Ohio State, 30-24. That kept the Wolverines in the second spot, and saw the Buckeyes drop three spots, from No. 3 to sixth place. Michigan drew 10 more first place votes (12) in this poll than last week (2), and they have now been in the No. 2 spot for eight straight weeks.

Washington moved up one spot to No. 3, after their 24-21 win over in-state rival Washington State. This is the Huskies' highest-ever ranking in the poll.

Florida State, who fell from No. 4 to fifth last week, jumped back up one spot to No. 4 with their 24-15 won on the road at rival Florida.

Oregon moved up one spot to No. 5 with their 31-7 win over Oregon State, who was No. 14 last week and dropped out of the poll completely.

Missouri moved up one spot to No. 9, their highest ranking in the history of the poll, after they beat Arkansas, 48-14, on the road.

Last week's No. 9 team, Louisville, dropped six spots, to No. 15 after they lost at home to Kentucky, 38-31.

Iowa took their spot in the poll, coming in at No. 16 after winning at Nebraska, 13-10. It is the first time the Hawkeyes have been in the poll in nearly two years, since they were No. 16 on December 5, 2021.
