College Football: FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll - Week 12

 


In the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll for Week 12 of the 2024 college football season, Oregon came out on top for the fifth straight week, after they won at Wisconsin, 16-13.

The Ducks claimed 52 out of 54 possible first-place votes. The only other school to take first place votes was No. 2 Ohio State, who beat Northwestern on the road, 31-7.

Oregon is now the first non-SEC team to hold the No. 1 spot for five straight weeks since Clemson in 2019.

As tipped off by Ohio State, No. 2 to 4 is unchanged from last week. No. 3 Texas won 20-10 at Arkansas, while No. 4 Indiana had a bye week.

Penn State moved up one spot to No. 5 with their dominant 49-10 win at Perdue.

Last week's No. 5, Tennessee, dropped six spots to No. 11 after they lost at Georgia, 31-17. With the win, Georgia moved up three spots to No. 8.

Alabama came in at No. 6, as it moved up two spots with their win 52-7 win over Mercer. 

Notre Dame jumped two spots to No. 7 with their 35-14 win over Virginia.

Last week's No. 7, BYU, dipped seven spots to No. 14 after their 17-13 loss to Kansas at home.

Colorado came in at No. 16 after their win 49-24 win over Utah. That bumped Clemson, who took the final spot last week, out of the poll despite their 24-20 win at Pittsburgh.
