The St. John's Red Storm took a tick down in the Top 25 rankings on Monday, as they came in at No. 10 in the Associated Press poll, and No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches' poll.

This comes after a tough loss at Villanova, 73-71 on Wednesday, followed by a big win on Sunday over Marquette, 79-73, at a sold-out Madison Square Garden.

St. John's is now 22-4 on the season, including 13-2 in Big East play, in sole possession of first place in the conference, as they hold a two-game lead on Creighton (11-4) with five games to play.

The only other Big East team in the Top 25 is Marquette, which came in at No. 16 in the AP Poll and No. 15 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll. Creighton was in the polls last week, but dropped out of both of them. UConn was only in the USA Today poll, but was dropped out as well.

BIG EAST WEEKLY HONOR ROLL: Kadary Richmond was named to the Big East Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, after a week in which he averaged 18.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 3.0 steals in 38.5 minutes per game.

Richmond had double-doubles in both games St. John's played this week. On Wednesday at Villanova, he had 17 points (7-10 FG) and 10 rebounds, as well as five rebounds and two steals. In Sunday's win over Marquette, he had 19 points (7-18 FG, 1-3 threes, 4-4 FT) and 10 rebounds for a double-double of his own, four steals, and three assists.
