Mets House NYC is now open in Union Square after a ribbon cutting on Friday with Mets legends Dwight "Doc" Gooden and Todd Zeile.

Located at 1 Union Square West, opposite to the southwest corner of the park along 14th Street, this is the first ever Mets pop-up experience, an exclusive chance for fans to engage with the team outside of Citi Field.

That was evident by the massive crowd on hand Friday morning that turned what usually is a quiet sidewalk into a party before they were let in at 11 A.M. and got the chance to pose for pictures with Gooden and Zeile. Mets President of Baseball Operations M. Scott Havens, and Julie Stein, the Executive Director of Union Square Partnership also took part in the grand opening.

Mets House will feature themed activities, exclusive merchandise, ongoing surprises, which include giveaways and special gifts with purchase, and other interactive elements.

Fans should keep in touch with what's going on at Mets House because there will be unique experiences that will change in the time it is open.
