College Football: FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll - Week 5

In the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll for Week 5 of the 2025 college football season, Ohio State claimed the top spot for the fifth straight week after being idle.

Ohio State took 46 out of 56 first-place votes and it now has the longest active appearance streak in the poll at 153 weeks.

While the Buckeyes remained at the top, the three teams after them in the top four changed drastically.

Last week's No. 2, Georgia, dropped nine spots after a 24-21 home loss to Alabama. With that win, the Crimson Tide made a dramatic move, as it jumped eight spots to No. 8.

The new No. 2 team is Oregon, who notched a 30-24 road win at Penn State. With the loss, the Nittany Lions dropped from No. 3 down to seventh.

Miami is the new No. 3 team, jumping two spots after they were idle in Week 5.

Ole Miss jumped right spots to No. 4 after their win over LSU, who was in the fourth slot last week and dropped 10 places to No. 14 this week.

Texas A&M is the new No. 5 team, moving up five spots after they beat Aurburn, 16-10, at home.

Florida State, last week's No. 7 team, lost to Virginia, 46-38, in overtime, and they fell out of the poll.

Vanderbilt returned to the poll, coming in at No. 16 after their 55-35 win over Utah State.
