Suzyn Waldman Elected Into Radio Hall of Fame: Yankees radio announcer Suzyn Waldman, a pioneer for women in sports media, who has covered the Yankees beginning with her work for WFAN when the station debuted in 1987, was elected to the Museum of Broadcast Communications Radio Hall of Fame on Monday.

The Yankees released the following statement: "The New York Yankees offer their heartfelt congratulations to Suzyn Waldman on being elected to the Museum of Broadcast Communications Radio Hall of Fame. Both as a reporter covering the team and as a broadcaster in the booth, Suzyn has informed and entertained Yankees fans with precision and care for 36 years. This accomplishment is the deserved result of decades of hard work and dedication to her craft, and we would be remiss to not laud her professionalism and resolve while staring down countless obstacles as a pioneering woman in her field. The Yankees are thrilled to see her recognized in this fashion as she takes her place alongside other luminaries in the broadcast radio world."

Yankees Sign Top-Five Draft Picks: The Yankees announced on Monday that they signed their first five picks from the 2022 First-Year Player Draft, which was held last week.
