Citi Field To Host Battle of the Badges Charity Baseball Game

On Thursday, August 11, the Mets and Ford will host the FDNY vs. NYPD Battle of the Badges Charity Baseball Game at Citi Field, with first pitch at 7:10 p.m.

General Admission tickets are $20 with all proceeds from the gate benefitting FDNY and NYPD charities.

Each team will consist of former high school, college, and minor league baseball players who are now members of the FDNY or NYPD. 

The event will feature an appearance by Mets catcher James McCann, and there will be an NYPD flyover prior to the game.

Mets first baseman Pete Alonso will be donating a pair of signed cleats to be auctioned, with proceeds benefiting FDNY and NYPD charities.
