In the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll for Week 8 of the 2025 college football season, Ohio State claimed the top spot for the eighth straight week after a 34-0 win at Wisconsin.
Ohio State took 53 out of 56 first-place votes and it now has the longest active appearance streak in the poll at 156 weeks.
Indiana jumped up one spot to No. 2 after they beat Michigan State, 38-13. Texas A&M moved up a spot to No. 3 with their 45-42 win at Arkansas.
For both Indiana and Texas A&M, it is their highest rankings in the history of the poll.
Last week's No. 2, Miami, tumbled seven spots to No. 9 after they lost at home to Louisville, 24-21.
With the win, Louisville moved into the poll at No. 16 after they didn't even receive votes last week.
Alabama jumped two spots to No. 4 after they beat Tennessee, 37-20. Georgia moved up three places to No. 5 with their 43-35 win over Ole Miss, who dropped three spots to No. 8.
Oregon moved into No. 6, jumping three spots, with their 56-10 win at Rutgers. Georgia Tech made a massive leap, five places, into No. 7 with their 27-18 win at Duke.
Vanderbilt returned to the poll at No. 10 31-24 win over LSU.
