New York City Football Club will face off with Charlotte FC in a Round One Best-of-3 in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
NYCFC finished with a record of 17-5-12, with 56 points, and came in fifth place in the MLS Eastern Conference, while Charlotte FC finished in fourth with 59 points (19-2-13).
In their two meetings this season, Charlotte won the first one, 2-0, on July 12, while NYCFC returned the favor on September 20 at Yankee Stadium, as Matt Freese earned a clean sheet in a 2-0 win.
That win at The Stadium ended a nine-game winning streak for Charlotte, which date back to when their July 12 win over NYCFC.
This series will open on Tuesday, October 28, in Charlotte, with kickoff at 6:45 p.m.
Game 2 will be at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, November 1, at 3:30 p.m.
The third game, if necessary, will be back in Charlotte on Friday, November 7, at 7:00 p.m.
All NYCFC home playoff games will be at Yankee Stadium.
