College Football: FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll - Week 9

In the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll for Week 9 of the 2025 college football season, Ohio State claimed the top spot for the ninth straight week after they had a bye week.

Ohio State took 48 out of 56 first-place votes and it now has the longest active appearance streak in the poll at 157 weeks.

The top 4 remained the same, and though they were in different order, the top 10 also comprised the same teams.

Indiana remained at No. 2 after they destroyed UCLA, 56-6. No. 3 Texas A&M beat LSU, 49-25, on the road. No. 4 Alabama won at South Carolina, 29-22.

Georgia kept the fifth spot despite their bye week, and Oregon held on to No. 6 with their 21-7 win over Wisconsin.

Ole Miss and Georgia flipped No. 7 and No. 8, while Vanderbilt and Miami flipped the ninth and 10th spots.

Oklahoma and Missouri dropped out of the poll. Oklahoma fell to Ole Miss, 34-26, at home, while Missouri lost to Vanderbilt, 17-10.

Tennessee moved into the poll at No. 14 after their 56-34 win at Kentucky. Virginia is also newly into the poll, at No. 16, with their 17-16 win over Bill Belichick (remember him?) and North Carolina.
