Major League Baseball released the 2019 regular season schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
The Yankees will open the season with their earliest-ever regular season calendar date for a home or away game, Thursday, March 28 vs. the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium.
They will take on the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium nine times on the following dates: April 16-17, May 30-June 2 and August 2-4.
The Yankees will also play two games from 6/29-30 against Boston at London Stadium, which will be played as Red Sox home games.
The American League East teams will face the National League West in Interleague Play. The Yankees will host the San Diego Padres May 27-29. The Padres are the only team in Major League Baseball yet play a regular season game at the current Stadium. The Yankees will also play home games vs. Colorado (July 19-21) and Arizona ( July 30-31), and road games at San Francisco (April 26-28), Arizona (April 30- May 1) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (August 23-25).
There will be four Subway Series games against the Mets, including June 10-11 at Yankee Stadium and July 2-3 at Citi Field.
The Yankees will play at home on Memorial Day (May 27 vs. San Diego), on the road on July 4 at Tampa Bay, and at home on Labor Day (September 2 vs. Texas).
The Yankees' final homestand of the season has six games, including on from September 17-19 vs. the Los Angeles Angels and Sept. 20-22 vs. Toronto.
Their season concludes with 24 of 36 games on the road, including their final games of the year at Tampa Bay (Sept. 24-25) and Texas (Sept. 27-29).
