The Mets released their 2023 promotional schedule on Wednesday, and it features plenty of bobbleheads, jerseys, and items inspired by the players and Manager Buck Showalter.

The first giveaway of the season, during Opening Weekend, will be a Citi Field replica on Saturday, April 8.

Bobbleheads are always a big one people anticipate, and the Mets always create unique collectibles. The first one is a Francisco Lindor grass growing bobblehead on Saturday, May 20. Soon after, there will be a Howie Rose sound bobblehead that will be given out on Wednesday, May 31. There are a pair of bobbleheads inspired by movies: a Starling Marte Black Panther one on Monday, June 26, and the next night, Mr. Met as Indiana Jones on Tuesday, June 27. To close out the bobbleheads, fittingly, is an Edwin Diaz trumpet bobblehead, in honor of his entrance music, and that will be given out on Tuesday, August 15.

There will be a new take on jersey nights, as there will be four given out inspired by other sports. You can get a Mets basketball jersey, which is inspired by their road jersey, on Tuesday, July 18; a Mets soccer jersey on Thursday, July 17, a Mets football jersey on Wednesday, August 9, and a Mets hockey jersey on Tuesday, September 12.

There are a pair of apparel giveaways that are sure to delight fans, as you can get Pete Alonso-inspired neon sunglasses on Sunday, June 4, and Max Scherzer-inspired two-toned sunglasses on Wednesday, August 16. (note: the Scherzer sunglasses will be given out the night after the Edwin Diaz trumpet bobblehead).

Other collectibles include: A Handmade by Robots Knit Series, with one of Mr. Met given out on Saturday, April 29, and of Mrs. Met, the following Saturday, May 6. You can get Topps baseball cards on Wednesday, July 19, and a Kodai Senga glow-in-the-dark ghost fork ball on Friday, August 25.

There is a trio of hats that will be given out this year. You can get a Father's Day bucket hat on Sunday, June 18, a MLB Network hat on Wednesday, August 30, and a Mets corduroy hat on Saturday, September 2.

To show how beloved the skipper is, you can get a windbreaker inspired by the one Buck Showalter wears on Thursday, September 28.

Other fun items that will be given out the next couple nights include a Mets crossbody bag on Friday, September 29 and a tie-dye headband on Saturday, September 30.

The Mets Hall of Fame will induct four new members on Saturday, June 3 in a pregame ceremony: infielder Howard Johnson, left-handed pitcher Al Leiter, and broadcasters Howie Rose and Gary Cohen. Longtime public relations director Jay Horwitz will receive the Mets Hall of Fame Achievement Award. Click here for more information from our coverage in January when it was announced.

There will be Theme Nights throughout the season, and they are: Mental Health Awareness Day on Saturday, May 6; Pride Night on Friday, June 16, and all fans will receive a Pride themed hand fan; Black Legacy Game on Monday, June 26; Filipino Heritage on Thursday, June 29; Irish Heritage on Sunday, August 13; Korean Heritage on Monday, August 14; Japanese Heritage on Friday, August 25, and fans will receive the Kodai Senga glow-in-the-dark ghost fork ball giveaway; Women's Equality Night on Saturday, August 26; Taiwanese Heritage on Sunday, August 27; Chinese Heritage on Friday, September 1; Jewish Heritage on Sunday, September 3; and Hispanic Heritage on Friday, September 15.
