The Jonas Brothers will be performing a one-night only show at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, August 12, the Yankees announced on Tuesday morning. UPDATE from 4/11/23: A second concert on Sunday, August 13 has been added.
The Jonas Brothers - Kevin, Joe, and Nick - who are Jersey natives, will perform new songs from their sixth studio album, titled The Album, which is set to be released on May 12. It features the recent hit "Wings" and the upcoming single "Waffle House," which will be released Friday.
Tickets will go on sale on www.yankees.com, www.yankeesbeisbol.com, and www.ticketmaster.com on Friday, April 14 at 10:00 a.m.
Over their career, the Jonas Brothers have earned Billboard Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, Teen Choice Awards, and have received Grammy and American Music Award nominations.
The Jonas Brothers reunited in 2019 after a six-year hiatus when they released the single "Sucker." The five-times platinum single debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100, becoming their first No. 1 record and the first single from any group this century to debut at No. 1.
This is just the latest in a series of big concerts the new Yankee Stadium has hosted since it opened in 2009. Previous artists who have performed there include Jay-Z, Paul McCartney, Bad Bunny, Madonna, Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Garth Brooks, Romeo Santon, Metallica, and Roger Waters.
