The Mets have postponed both of their weekend games, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, with the Atlanta Braves due to the massive rain in the area. The storm began on Friday night, which forced the series opener to be a five-inning affair that the Braves won, 4-0.
Saturday's game will be made up as part of a split-admission doubleheader on Saturday, August 12, with the first game beginning at 1:10 p.m., and Game 2 at 7:15 p.m. Fans with Saturday, April 29 tickets can use them for Game 1.
Sunday's game will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader tomorrow, Monday, May 1, starting at 1:10 p.m. Tickets for the Sunday, April 30 game WILL NOT be valid for admission to the doubleheader.
Here is the information for ticketholders of each day's postponement:
SATURDAY: Fans holding paid tickets for Saturday's originally scheduled game on Saturday can be used for the rescheduled game on August 12 at 1:10 p.m.
The giveaway item, a Handmade by Robots Knit Series Mr. Met, will now take place for Game 1 on August 12, for the first 15,000 fans.
Fans who do now wish to use their ticket for that game can exchange a digital ticket voucher for a ticket comparable in price and location to another Mets 2023 regular season home game at Citi Field, excluding the June 3 Mets Hall of Fame Ceremony and the June 13-14 Subway Series against the Yankees, subject to availability.
Digital vouchers will be loaded into attending patron's My Mets ticket account (accessed by clicking the Vouchers tab) and will be accessible Sunday morning.
Ticket holders for Saturday's game with a prepaid parking pass will automatically receive a voucher redeemable for a new prepaid parking pass in their My Mets Tickets account.
Complimentary tickets to tonight's game and those marked "NO RAINCHECK" have no value and do not constitute a rain check.
