Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s campaign announced on Wednesday that it has collected all the signatures need for ballot access in Ohio.
This is now the eighth state that Kennedy, along with his running mate, Nicole Shanahan, has collected enough signatures for ballot access, along with New Hampshire, Nevada, Hawaii, North Carolina, Idaho, Nebraska, and Iowa.
In addition, the Kennedy-Shanahan ticket is officially on the ballot in four states, Utah, Michigan, California, and Delaware, which was announced yesterday.
This means that the Kennedy campaign has now collected all the signatures required in states making up 141 electoral votes, 26 percent of the 538 total nationwide.
Midwest Regional Director Lane Koch said of Ohio being the latest state the campaign has reached its goal, "Since the launch of petitioning in Ohio, volunteers have eagerly stepped up to support the Kennedy campaign. We are delighted to be able to make this announcement more than one month ahead of schedule thanks to our hard-working volunteers."
