With 1:12 left, McKnight stole it from Creighton's Mitch Ballock, but then his dunk attempt was blocked by Ty-Shon Alexander.

The Pirates then delivered the knockout punch on defense, as Mamukelashvili blocked a Mintz jumper with 37 seconds left. Cerighton recovered, but then McKnight stole it from Marcus Zegarowski with 29 seconds left.
McKnight was fouled by Zegarowski and he drained his ensuing free throws to make it 78-73.
Creighton raced to the other end, and Zegarowski got off a quick three, which he missed with 24 seconds left. Powell got the rebound, and dribbled it around for five seconds before he was fouled by Mintz. He drained a pair of free throws to make it 80-73, making it a 13-0 run at that point and basically sealing the win.
