Yankees Postponed Friday Night, Double Dip on Saturday

The rainy week in New York continues, and with a bad forecast on tap for Friday night, the Yankees have postponed their game against the Texas Rangers.

There will be a single-admission doubleheader tomorrow, Saturday, beginning with the originally scheduled game at 1:05, and the second game approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first one.

Tickets for tonight's originally scheduled Friday, August 9 game will not be valid on Saturday.

The Juan Soto MGCT Collectible Figurine that was set to be given out Friday will be given out in two weeks, on Friday, August 23, when the Yankees face the Colorado Rockies.

Fans with paid tickets for Friday night can exchange them for tickets to a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium, subject to availability. Tickets can be exchanged online only and cannot be exchanged in-person at the Yankee Stadium Ticket Office. Complimentary (COMP) tickets and tickets obtained from the Commissioner's Initiative for Kids for Friday, August 9, are not valid for any future games.  For full information, please consult the Yankees rain check policy at www.yankees.com/raincheck

On Saturday, Yankee Stadium gates will be open at 11:30 A.M., when distribution of the August 10 promotion - a Yankees Camo Cap for the first 18,000 fans 21-and-older - will begin.

Carlos Rodon (12-7 with a 4.37 earned run average) and Gerrit Cole, who is 3-2 with a 5.09 ERA, will start for the Yankees.
