Yanks Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month With Special Dining Options & Ticket Deals

The Yankees recently announced their annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, which includes Latin-inspired food items at Yankee Stadium, and a ticket offer for the upcoming homestand beginning Tuesday night, in which fans will receive a Yankees cap with their homeland's flag within the Yankees interlocking NY logo.

Rep Your Flag Program: Fans can purchase tickets for the September 20-25 homestand, in which they will play the Pirates Tuesday and Wednesday night and then a four-game set against the rival Boston Red Sox Thursday through Sunday, and received a New Era Yankees cap with a Latin American flag. 

Countries whose flags you can get include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

Latin-Inspired Menu Items: Yankee Stadium's food service provider, Legends Hospitality, is highlighting five Latin-inspired menu items, two of which have been newly created for this Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) celebration. 

Al Pastor Bacon on a Stick (new for HHM): Al pastor glazed bacon topped with house-made pineapple chili jam. Available at the Section 121 N.Y. Grill Stand.

Classic Paloma (new for HHM): a traditional Mexican sparkling grapefruit cocktail, made with Tres Generaciones Plata Tequila. Available at concourse bars located by Sections 134, 207, 232, and 320.

Mexican-Style Bronx Street Corn: Corn on the cob with cilantro lime crema, cotija cheese and Takis crumbles. Available at the YES Network Terrace (left field bleachers) and the Toyota Terrace (right field bleachers).

La Dulce Vida Milkshake: A Yankee Stadium favorite, available in vanilla or chocolate, and made with dulce de leche and tres leches, with a cupcake, churro, and blue and white Yankees sprinkles. Served in a souvenir cup. Available at Shake Stands at Sections 112, 125, and 324.

Colombian Beef Empanada: Sourced from a minority-owned local New York City business, the empanada is served with cilantro lime crema. Available at the Garlic Fries Stand at Section 107.
