The Yankees had to postpone their Friday night game with the Chicago White Sox, and it will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Sunday.
The first game will start at 3:05 p.m. and the second game starting no earlier than 7:05 p.m. If the first game ends later than 6:35 p.m., Game 2 would begin approximately 30 minutes after the first game concludes.
All Yankee Stadium Gates will open to fans with valid tickets at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Friday night was set to be Andy Pettitte Bobblehead night (given out to the first 18,000 guests and that has been rescheduled when the Yankees take on the other Chicago team, the Cubs, on Friday, June 10 at 7:05 p.m.
Tickets for the Friday, May 20 game will NOT be valid for Sunday's aingle-admission doubleheader. They can be exchanged for tickets to a similar regular season game at Yankee Stadium (subject to availability), as described in the Yankee rain check policy. That can be found at www.yankees.com/raincheck.
Sunday's first game will be broadcast on Prime Video, and the second game will be on ESPN.
Complimentary (COMP) tickets and tickets obtained via the Commissioner's Initiative for Kids for the originally scheduled Friday, May 20 game are not valid for any future games. COMP tickets or equivalent tickets bear no cash value and do not have any additional benefits that may be offered to ticket(s) with a dollar value.
